The Xiaomi 13 Lite will make its debut alongside the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro on February 26. Ahead of that date, however, the entry-level Xiaomi 13 series phone has now appeared in the flesh, showcasing its design and key specs.

Xiaomi has since confirmed its plans to debut the Xiaomi 13 series later this month on February 26, at MWC. While the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will not launch at that event, the Xiaomi 13 Lite, Xiaomi 13, and Xiaomi 13 Pro are all slated to hit the global market on said date. The entry-level model of the lineup has now been revealed in the flesh ahead of its debut, too, showcasing its key specs.

The Xiaomi 13 Lite will, of course, be the cheapest model in the series, and that reflects in its specs. That said, the 13 Lite will still feature a 120 Hz AMOLED, a 50 MP “triple camera system”, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, and 67 W fast charging. Those specs may look familiar to the keen-eyed, and that’s because the Xiaomi 13 Lite looks to be a rebadge of the Xiaomi Civi 2 that debuted in China back in September last year.

That means the Xiaomi 13 Lite can be expected to ship with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Seeing as the Civi 2 was a youth-oriented mid-range device, it’d be naive to expect the latest memory and storage technology as seen on the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. In addition to the 50 MP main camera, the Xiaomi 13 Lite will likely sport a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2 MP macro lens. The live images confirm dual selfie cameras as well: two 32 MP shooters with different FoVs. A 4500 mAh battery can be expected to complete the package.
