The thirteenth episode of Tomo-chan is a Girl finally brings Jun and Tomo into a happy relationship – not before one final challenge. To gain Tomo’s father’s blessing, he has to beat him in karate, which he can do after Tomo gives him courage and motivation.
After Jun wins, he asks Tomo to be his girlfriend officially, and the two kiss and begin their relationship at last. Here are the latest updates.
There will be no episode 14; if there is, it will be the second season’s first episode. Since the manga has concluded and there is no further source material, chances of a second season are low.

Relationship 3. Episode 12 Recap
To excite him, Misuzu and Carol advise Tomo to take Junichiro to a romantic Christmas movie. They watch the film, but the couple in the film does more than just kiss, which embarrasses Tomo. After the movie, they exchange Christmas gifts, and she invites herself to his home.
Tomo rages at Junichiro after a long, awkward silence, saying she came to kiss him. Still, he explains he feels wrong kissing her yet, revealing he asked her parents for their blessing but was barred from dating her unless he defeated her father, Goro.
They return to school after New Year’s Day, and Misuzu and Carol confront Tomo about ignoring them over the holidays, so she explains what happened. Meanwhile, Junichiro has issued a challenge to Goro. Tomo realizes he needs her help during karate practice, so she rushes to his aid.
After seeing her, an injured Junichiro re-energizes, believing he must be capable of defending the girl he loves. He lands a powerful punch on Goro, breaking his nose and winning the match.
Following the match, he formally asks her to be his girlfriend, which she accepts by kissing him and telling him his heart will be racing before she happily hugs him.

Tomo-chan Is a Girl! is a four-panel manga by Fumita Yanagida. It was published from April 2015 to July 2019. The manga will also receive an anime adaptation in 2023.
The plot revolves around a tomboy girl, Tomo Aizawa. She has a crush on her childhood friend, Jun, but he only ever thinks of her as a guy. She tries to show her love but it ends up in Jun completely misinterpreting her hints.
The hilarious series shows how Tomo tries to capture Jun’s attention while also dealing with her friends, Misuzu and Carol.
