The eleventh episode of Tomo-chan is a Girl shows serious progress between Tomo and Jun’s relationship ever since Jun realizes how cute she is. He blushes and appreciates her appearance throughout the whole episode.
However, Misuzu and Tomo’s friendship seems to be on ice ever since Misuzu realizes her mistake of trying to get Tomo to be more feminine for Jun to like her. Here are the latest updates.

Tomo tells Misuzu she wants to work part-time to buy Jun a birthday present. Misuzu and Carol decide that if Tomo is going to look for work, they should do the same. Tanabe suggests that the girls join him at his family’s ramen restaurant, where they are hired as weekend servers and begin a few days later wearing maid uniforms.
Jun arrives for lunch. When Tomo goes to serve Jun his meal, she expects him to mock her, but Jun admits that she does not look bad and blushes. Jun arrives to walk Tomo home and tells her he goes to the restaurant every day because she works there. Tomo buys Jun a new watch for his birthday.
Tomo seeks Misuzu’s advice on how to take her and Jun’s relationship to the next level. Misuzu suggests that there be more physical contact. Instead, they decide that pushing Jun into her arms is the best option. Misuzu unexpectedly pushes Jun when he arrives.
However, he avoids Tomo at the last second and accidentally grabs Carol’s chest to catch himself. Misuzu begins to suspect that something is wrong. Misuzu admits to Carol that she must not want Jun and Tomo to end up together because she makes things worse every time she tries to help.
Misuzu is devastated; she is too afraid to face Tomo and does not attend school. Tomo visits Misuzu, drops off the script for the upcoming school festival play, and attempts to sort things out.
Misuzu returns to school to discover she has been cast as Cinderella in the upcoming school festival production, alongside Tomo as the prince and Carol as the evil stepmother.
Tomo admits that playing the prince makes her feel like a boy. Jun tells Misuzu to discuss things properly with Tomo if she is upset. The episode concludes with Jun assisting Tomo with her lines, playing Cinderella in Misuzu’s place.

Tomo-chan Is a Girl! is a four-panel manga by Fumita Yanagida. It was published from April 2015 to July 2019. The manga will also receive an anime adaptation in 2023.
The plot revolves around a tomboy girl, Tomo Aizawa. She has a crush on her childhood friend, Jun, but he only ever thinks of her as a guy. She tries to show her love but it ends up in Jun completely misinterpreting her hints.
The hilarious series shows how Tomo tries to capture Jun’s attention while also dealing with her friends, Misuzu and Carol.
