New App OMRA Focuses on Walking vs Washboard Abs

LOS ANGELES (December 2022) Research shows that just ten minutes of daily walking can improve health and longevity. “Getting people moving” is the motivation behind OMRA, a new holistic lifestyle App launched by Los Angeles-based fitness experts with specializations in gerontology, personal training, meditation and mindfulness.

The cornerstones of OMRA’s program are daily guided walking and workout videos targeted to seniors and individuals who are new to consistent exercise routines.

OMRA (Original Movement Regular Activity) is the brainchild of co-founders Annora Olavson and Matt and Rachael O’Leary, who together, have over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry.

“Unlike boutique gyms and programs offered by other fitness companies, our goal is to provide an easy-to-use platform that is focused on building healthy habits not six packs,” said Matt O’Leary.

“OMRA is ready to serve the community who feel overwhelmed or ignored by the fitness industry which tends to market to a younger population or those who are already fit.” said Olavson (Gerontologist).

Partnership in Your Journey to A Healthier You

An OMRA membership includes daily guided walks and workouts with modifications to support varied fitness levels as well as supplemental videos on brain training, stretching and meditation- all led by the cofounders. Easy eats recipes are also provided as part of the OMRA’s holistic health experience. Co-founders are also available to respond to queries through the Apps community function OMRA website www.omralife.com

    Easily Accessible to Encourage Continuity

OMRA can be downloaded for iOS app in the Apple store or for Android on Google Play for a monthly fee of $9.99 or an annual membership for $99.99 with a ten day free trial period.

“Our motto is health and wellness for everyone, for life. Whether you have never exercised or are recovering from injury, our aim is to get you into a pattern of movement that is accessible, achievable and encourages you to prioritize your health,” said Rachael O’Leary.
