Fresh off a dominant Packers victory, Jaire Alexander called out Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless while wearing a really big hat.

Jaire Alexander risked poking the bear when he called Justin Jefferson’s outrageous production against the Packers in Week 1 “a fluke.”

He certainly caught the attention of sports commentators like Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, who were critical of his assessment of Jefferson’s outing last week.

On Sunday, he backed up his talk, helping to hold Jefferson to just one catch for 15 yards as the Packers walloped the Vikings, 41-17.

But the play on the field wasn’t the end for Green Bay’s star cornerback. While wearing a literal big hat gifted to him by offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins, he called out his critics by name.

“Tell Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless they need to watch what they say when they talk about me, you feel me? They need to watch what they put out,” Alexander said. “Talkin’ about, ‘He a good corner.’ I’m a great corner.”

The image of Alexander clapping back at Bayless and Sharpe while wearing that hat is going to live on for a long time. He couldn’t have picked a more memorable look to drop that message.

It was an eventful day for Alexander, who got his share of gloating in. He rocked Jefferson’s signature celebration “The Griddy” after a pass breakup. He held Jefferson to his worst outing of the season and arguably his career. And then he got to do even more talking.

The Packers have been in playoff mode for a while now, needing to win out to keep their season alive. They’ve now managed four straight victories. A fifth against the Lions will put them into the playoffs despite their 4-8 start to the season.
