Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr and Sylvester Stallone might not be the best of friends. However, the two global icons share more in common than one would expect. Both personalities have a determined and unwavering spirit that saw them reach the top of their fields. with Mayweather being regarded as one of the if not the best boxers of his generation, while Stallone is considered to be one of the top action stars even to this day at the age of 77.

The two legends have reached the pinnacle of their careers along similar lines with both starting from the very bottom. However, they managed to overcome all odds and stand with their hand held high after the achievements these two made. Therefore it was no surprise when a rare picture of the two standing together went viral on the internet.

A resurfaced photo of Sly and ‘Money’ standing together is currently making rounds on the internet. The two legends can be seen wearing all-black suits and posing for a photo whose worth is beyond measurement. Moreover, this was during the time when the two were much younger, adding another layer of intrigue and charm to the photo.

Both Stallone and Mayweather lead different paths in life, However, the two had the same mentality in common which is why they were so successful in their respective fields.

Sylvester Stallone once praised Floyd Mayweather’s dressing sense after the Logan Paul exhibition

Back in 2021, ‘Money’ faced YouTube sensation Logan Paul in an exhibition bout. However, following this, Stallone had some praise for the former champion’s dressing sense. He posted a video on Instagram claiming that he loved the way ‘Money’ was dressed. “I must admit I admire the way Floyd Mayweather dresses! LoL,” he wrote.

In the video, Mayweather can be seen wearing a T-shirt with Stallone’s face printed on it. This might be the reason why Stallone had such high praise for him and also gave him a compliment. Mayweather retired from boxing back in 2017. However, he still competes in exhibition bouts. He is now scheduled to face Geordie Shore Star Aaron Chalmers in February. This will be the first time he competes in the United Kingdom in his long and illustrious career.
