Why Renner’s Viewpoint Of Sex Has Changed
Brittany Renner appeared as a guest on a recent episode of the We Need To Talk podcast, hosted by Nyla Symone. Renner, a mother of one toddler son, shared how her views regarding sexual intimacy have changed over recent years.
“I’ve given men my body who didn’t deserve it, and you know, it was what it was. The thought of that now literally makes me want to puke. I’m okay off of meaningless sex. I mean, sex without some type of bond, or love, is just exercise at this point.”
The social media influencer went on to explain that definitely doesn’t need the extra exercise before sharing her dating standards with viewers while on the podcast.
“I’m not entertaining meaningless conversations, so whether that’s text message or FaceTime — I do not entertain men out of boredom. I have been on a p***y strike since October… And I’ll go the rest of 2023 if nobody wants to act right! And… I’m not seeing people through the rose-colored glasses anymore…”
The 30-year-old went on to explain that she used to invest a lot of hope in past suitors who just weren’t that into her.
“I just take the message for what it is — and their actions, you can tell typically tell how they feel about you. I don’t fight that anymore,” she explained. Adding: “I love men, but the the idea of not respecting myself makes you want to throw up.”
The Hook-Up That Changed It All
In another portion of her interview, Renner expressed discomfort about her last sexual experience, which occurred in October. She described feeling used, disgusting, and questioning the purpose of the encounter. The model also acknowledged the need to reflect on her actions, holding herself accountable for her behavior.
“I just didn’t like the way that I felt the last time I had sex back in October I didn’t like how I felt I felt used I felt disgusting I felt like what did I gain from that what was the point of that where am I going what am I doing you know and really kind of calling myself out.”
Renner Previously Shared That She Was ‘Disgusted’ By Her Dating Past
As The Shade Room previously reported, Brittany Renner reflected on her dating past. And shared that she hates how she allowed herself to be “used up by men.”
I hate how I allowed myself to just be like used up by men, and that came from a lack of self-worth. I did not understand my value that I was born with. I didn’t. Again people look at sex differently, but sex is spiritual unification at the end of the day. I don’t care how you spin it.
